Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TinyDesk AI at aitinydeskvideo.org (the "service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

TinyDesk AI lets users submit photos to create AI-generated short videos in a Tiny Desk-style setting. TinyDesk AI is an independent, unofficial parody tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NPR or the Tiny Desk Concerts series. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when needed.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload a photo, video, audio file, or other material unless you own it or have permission to use it for this purpose.
• Use another person's likeness without their clear permission.
• Upload or use photos, videos, audio, reference material, or likenesses of a real person under 18, even with permission. Do not use any real person's likeness to depict them as under 18.
• Create, upload, or share nude, sexualized, erotic, exploitative, grooming, abusive, or otherwise harmful content involving or appearing to depict anyone under 18. This rule also applies to fictional, stylized, and age-ambiguous characters.
• Upload sexually explicit, unlawful, hateful, deceptive, or harmful content.
• Use the service to mislead anyone, to impersonate a real person, or to suggest that a real person said, did, or endorsed something.
• Use generated videos in advertising or endorsements, or in a way that suggests affiliation with NPR, the Tiny Desk Concerts series, or any other person or brand.
• Use public figures, celebrities, or other identifiable people in a way that suggests endorsement or causes harm.
• Infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any party.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Use the service to send spam, malware, or other harmful content.

Fictional AI-generated depictions of minors (people under 18, or under a higher local age of majority) are permitted only when they are not based on or identifiable as a real person and remain fully clothed, non-sexual, age-appropriate, and non-exploitative. Do not present synthetic depictions as authentic footage of a real child. Applicable law and generation-provider or platform rules may impose additional restrictions.

Your Content and Generated Videos

You retain any rights you have in the photos you submit. You give us the limited permission needed to host, process, and send those photos to the generation providers we use to operate the service.

You are responsible for your submissions and for how you use generated videos. AI output can be inaccurate, may vary between renders, and may not look exactly like the people in your photos. Review each result before sharing it, and follow the rules of the platform you post on.

Some templates, such as Outstanding Tiny Desk, build on a fixed reference video and its soundtrack that we provide. Those reference materials are not owned by you, and you may not extract, resell, or redistribute them apart from the videos you generate.

Content Moderation and Reports

We may review, remove, block, or report content that violates these Terms or applicable law. To report copyright or other rights concerns, email support@aitinydeskvideo.org with enough detail for us to investigate.

Credits, Payment and Refunds

Videos are paid for with credits. Credits are sold in one-time packs, never expire, and there is no subscription. The credit cost is shown before you generate. If a generation fails, the credits for that video are returned to your account automatically. Other refund requests are handled case by case: email support@aitinydeskvideo.org. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider.

Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality, including the templates, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these Terms. We may take action against repeat infringers. You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by emailing us.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, send a notice through the service for material changes.
